Lititz Springs Park is unique in the fact that it is a private park for public use. So, while its intention is to be open and accessible to the community, there are some additional considerations regarding use of the grounds that may not apply to Borough or Township owned parks.

PHOTOGRAPHY

Individual family or small group photography is permitted any time the grounds are open. These include senior photos, prom, homecoming, and graduation photos, engagement and wedding photos, family photos, etc. Feel free to use all areas of the grounds, but please be mindful of others using the park as well. Please check the placard on the sides of any pavilion or gazebo before use to see if it has been rented for the day. If so, please give that group the space for their rental. Commercial photography or anything advertised to the public (i.e. “mini-sessions", etc.) must have authorization and approval from the Park Board or staff. Please email lspark@ptd.net for approval before scheduling any commercial photography sessions or dates. Photography during whole-park events is subject to additional rules by the event organizers. Please check the Events Calendar before planning a photography session in the park.

FOR-PROFIT ACTIVITIES

Any for-profit activity must be approved by the Park Board or staff before being scheduled. Please submit a request of your proposed activity to lspark@ptd.net to be shared and discussed at the next Park Board meeting. Please note that the Board meets once a month, so plan ahead an allow enough time to be added to the monthly agenda. Any for-profit activity that is approved will require a Certificate of Liability from the organizer naming Lititz Springs Park, Inc. as additional insured. Rental fees may apply depending on spaces that are used for the activity. These would include yoga or exercise classes, educational outings or classes, summer camp activities, etc. Large, public events require additional approvals, as well as an Activity Permit submitted to Lititz Borough.

PAVILION RENTALS

If you wish to reserve a pavilion, please call or email the Park Events Manager or see the information on the website under “Pavilion Rentals.”All pavilion rentals are on a full-day basis. All pavilions have electric, but there are no kitchen facilities and no water hookups. There is a placard on the side of each gazebo and pavilion showing individual rentals for the current month. If there are no rentals on a given date, groups may use the pavilion on a first-come, first-served basis. Please make sure to dispose of all trash in receptacles and leave pavilions the way you found them. Pavilions may be rented from April 1 – October 31 and may be reserved up to 1 year prior to the rental date.
